dangit evan longoria. why do you always have to do so amazing against the sox?
not only did he hit the tying solo shot in the 8th, he hit the walk-off 2-run homer in the 13th. *huffle* well, 4-2 isn't that bad. ellsbury went 1 for 6.
the royals also lost in a close one, 7-6 to the mariners. i saw part of the game on the ESPN gamecast thing, and luckily it was the part where alex had that rbi bunt single (even though the run was scored on the error by the m's 3B). alex went 2 for 4 with 2 strikeouts, a run and an RBI. and i actually did a double-take 'cause i was looking at batting averages in the box score and accidentally read his OBP instead and was like "whoa! .329? that can't be right." and it wasn't. it's .203.
the rangers got shutouted by the a's 6-zip, salty went 1 for 3 and there was another one of those pitcher-catcher conversation pictures but the height difference wasn't as funny so i didn't post it.
and weather permitting, i'm going tubing today! yay! :)
