being a high-schooler, i thought i knew pretty much all there was to know about being random and awkward and stuff. cripes, i'm the artiste extraordinare for a webcomic called "drowning in turtles" (new comic up, btw).
hoo boy was i wrong.

royals pitching prospect chris hayes has a blog that is probably one of the funniest blogs i've ever read. his randomness has mine beat out by... i don't know, a really big number. and the fan mail post for august 7th, specifically the response to question 4, almost had me do a spit take (except i had nothing to spit). i was reading it and felt like hanners from QC when she went through marigold's manga (scene 4, readers of QC will understand what i mean). but from awkwardness comes hilarity, and between that post and the one about hayes' calves, i don't think you can get much better than that.
(thank you ellie for that :) )

and the sox finally snapped their 6-game skid with a 6-5 win over the tigers.
